THE EVENT BROUGHT TOGETHER INDIAN MIGRANT WORKERS AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO MARK THE NEW YEAR AND RECOGNISE THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS IN SINGAPORE.

SINGAPORE, 11 January 2026 — The High Commission of India in Singapore organised a New Year celebration for Indian migrant workers in Singapore. The event was held in Singapore to mark the arrival of the New Year and to engage with the migrant worker community.

Mr Yui Fai Tung, Chief of the Assurance, Care and Engagement (ACE) Group at Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower, attended the event as the Guest of Honour. The gathering provided an opportunity for participants to celebrate together and highlighted ongoing efforts to support the welfare, care and engagement of migrant workers in Singapore.

The event reflected the close cooperation between the High Commission of India and Singapore authorities in fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for the migrant worker community.
