The Ambassador of the Philippines to Singapore, H.E. Medardo G Macaraig, attended the Annual Diplomatic Reception hosted by Tharman Shanmugaratnam at the National Gallery Singapore. The event provided an opportunity to reaffirm bilateral ties and engage with Singapore’s leadership on areas of mutual interest.

The reception brought together members of the diplomatic corps and senior government officials, serving as a platform for dialogue and engagement. In his engagements, Ambassador Macaraig conveyed the Philippines’ appreciation to the Singapore Government for facilitating the return of 24 Filipino nationals through a Singapore-chartered flight from Saudi Arabia. The gesture was acknowledged as a demonstration of cooperation and support between the two countries.
