Thailand promotes innovation-driven MICE sector through Singapore roadshow to strengthen regional partnerships
The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) organised the Thailand MICE Roadshow in Singapore 2026 on 26 March 2026 at the Grand Hyatt Singapore, bringing together industry stakeholders to promote Thailand as a technology-driven MICE destination. The event aimed to strengthen business relations and investment opportunities between Thailand and Singapore.

The opening ceremony was officiated by Chonlatee Chanrachakul, Chargé d’Affaires, who highlighted the importance of continued collaboration in the business events sector. The roadshow attracted more than 62 Thai entrepreneurs, reflecting efforts to deepen engagement with Singapore, which was Thailand’s leading foreign investor in 2025.

Supawan Teerarat, President of TCEB, outlined the objectives of the initiative and presented the MICE Masterplan 2026–2027. The roadmap emphasises innovation, sustainability, and the adoption of advanced technologies to enhance Thailand’s competitiveness in the global business events industry.
A panel discussion titled “Designing the Next Generation of Business Events: What Clients Expect in 2026” explored evolving industry expectations, including digital integration, experiential formats, and sustainability considerations. Participants also took part in Business Exchange Sessions across key segments, Meetings and Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions.
The programme included networking opportunities such as a business lunch and reception, enabling entrepreneurs and investors to build partnerships and exchange insights. The roadshow underscored Thailand’s strategic efforts to position itself as a forward-looking MICE destination while strengthening regional collaboration.
