A SOCIAL BREWERY EXPERIENCE ROOTED IN COMMUNITY AND CRAFT
Singapore, 13 April 2026 — This April, Burnt Ends Hospitality Group introduces People People Brewing Co., a large-scale working brewery and social venue located within Resorts World Sentosa. Spanning 9,000 square feet, the concept centres on accessibility, craftsmanship, and shared experiences, offering freshly brewed beer alongside a thoughtful food programme.
The venture is led by a multi-disciplinary team including Dave Pynt, Loh Lik Peng, Pete Thew, and Jason Moy. Together, they bring expertise across culinary innovation, hospitality, and brand-building to shape a welcoming, repeat-visit destination.
1. The Beer Programme: Freshness at the Core
At the heart of the concept is its brewing operation, overseen by Nick Calder-Scholes. With more than a decade of experience across Europe and Asia-Pacific, Calder-Scholes leads on-site brewing from recipe creation through to final pour.
Beer is produced entirely in-house and served directly from five 1,500-litre tanks, ensuring freshness from tank to tap. The programme spans several styles, including lagers, India Pale Ales, fruited sours, and barrel-aged stouts. These are organised into four collections—Core, Seasonal, Workshop Series, and Founder’s Reserve—each reflecting varying levels of experimentation and exclusivity.
Selected highlights include a balanced house lager brewed with Saaz and Tettnang hops, citrus-forward IPAs, and fruit-driven sour beers such as passionfruit and yuzu variants.
2. The Food Offering: Wood-Fired and Shareable
Complementing the beer selection is a menu rooted in the signature wood-fired cooking approach of Burnt Ends. Designed for sharing, the offering includes sourdough pizzas, rotisserie meats, burgers, and bar snacks.
Standout dishes include miso beef short rib pizza, lemon thyme roast chicken, and salt and pepper squid. Cooking takes place across a Classico oven and a Camino open-fire hearth, both visible to diners, reinforcing transparency and theatre within the space.
The menu is intentionally balanced to enhance the beer experience, rather than compete with it.
3. A Flexible Space for Everyday Socialising
Designed as an all-day venue, People People Brewing Co. integrates brewing tanks into its open-plan layout, creating a seamless connection between production and hospitality. The space accommodates up to 180 seated guests and 300–400 standing, catering to both casual visits and larger gatherings.
Located within WEAVE at Resorts World Sentosa, the venue is accessible without the Sentosa entry fee, with a direct drop-off point at its entrance.
Programming plays a key role in activating the venue, with regular events such as Sunday Socials, Saturday Long Lunches, Woodfire Wednesdays, and Thirsty Thursdays, which include brewery tours and guided tastings.
4. Building Community Before Opening
Ahead of its official opening, the brewery has introduced a tiered membership programme aimed at building an early community. Options include Founding Members, Friends of People People, and Beer Drop tiers, offering varying levels of access to exclusive releases, events, and tastings.
The Founding Members tier, limited to 100 participants, provides priority access to new beers, private events, and pre-opening experiences.
