Ambedkar Jayanti is observed annually on 14 April to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr B. R. Ambedkar (1891–1956), widely regarded as the principal architect of the Indian Constitution. His lifelong efforts to advance equality, eliminate social discrimination, and promote fundamental rights continue to inspire democratic societies around the world.

During the observance, the High Commissioner and staff members paid tribute through a floral offering, acknowledging Dr Ambedkar’s pivotal role in shaping modern India’s legal and institutional framework.
