
Indonesia’s training vessel KRI Bima Suci visited Singapore as part of the 2026 Kartika Jala Krida mission, promoting maritime diplomacy, cultural exchange, and stronger bilateral ties.
KRI Bima Suci visited Singapore as part of the goodwill voyage mission of the 2026 Kartika Jala Krida (KJK) Training Task Force involving the 73rd batch of Indonesian Naval Academy cadets.
During its visit, KRI Bima Suci carried out several maritime and cultural diplomacy activities aimed at strengthening relations between Indonesia and Singapore.
The programme included performances by Genderang Suling Gita Jala Taruna, showcasing Indonesian naval traditions and culture to invited guests and members of the public.
An open ship programme was also organised, giving visitors the opportunity to tour the training vessel and learn more about one of Indonesia’s proud naval ships.
KRI Bima Suci’s presence in Singapore also highlighted the role of naval diplomacy in fostering regional friendship, mutual understanding, and closer cooperation between neighbouring countries.
The visit reflected Indonesia’s continued commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and people-to-people connections through maritime cooperation and cultural diplomacy.
