Singapore recorded its highest-ever tourism receipts in 2025 and announced a major strategic partnership with Informa Group Limited as the city-state strengthens its position as Asia Pacific’s leading business events destination.

Singapore has reinforced its standing as one of the world’s top business events destinations after achieving record tourism results in 2025 and announcing a major partnership with Informa Group Limited. The announcement was made by the Singapore Tourism Board on 20 May 2026 as part of efforts to grow the country’s Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) industry.

Singapore recorded its highest-ever tourism receipts of S$32.8 billion in 2025, representing a 10 percent increase compared to the previous year. The MICE sector was a major contributor to this growth, generating S$2.3 billion in tourism receipts, up 35 percent from 2024. Officials said the increase reflects Singapore’s strong reputation as a trusted, accessible, and reliable destination for international business events across industries including healthcare, finance, innovation, and sustainability.

Singapore also retained its title as the top Meeting City in Asia Pacific for the 23rd consecutive year according to the International Congress and Convention Association. In addition, Cvent named Singapore the Top Meeting Destination in Asia Pacific for 2026.

To support future growth, STB signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Informa to launch new events including FundForum Asia, Pharmapack Asia, and BioProcess International Asia. Singapore has also secured major international events through 2032 and aims to increase MICE tourism receipts to S$4.5 billion by 2040.
