
Senior international defence leaders visited Singapore as part of the Royal College of Defence Studies Overseas Study Tour to deepen discussions on Indo-Pacific security and UK–Singapore cooperation.

The British High Commission in Singapore hosted the Royal College of Defence Studies in Singapore for its Overseas Study Tour, bringing together senior leaders from around the world to discuss security and defence cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region.
The week-long visit included engagements with government representatives, think tank discussions, and cultural programmes designed to strengthen dialogue and international partnerships. Officials said the visit highlighted the strong and longstanding collaboration between the United Kingdom and Singapore in areas related to defence, regional stability, and strategic cooperation.


The programme provided an opportunity for participants to exchange views on evolving geopolitical and security challenges in the Indo-Pacific, while also promoting deeper understanding between international defence and policy leaders.
The British High Commission noted that sustained dialogue and partnership remain important in addressing regional and global security issues. The visit also reflected the continued commitment of both the United Kingdom and Singapore to maintaining strong bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across defence and strategic sectors.
