
Singapore’s High Commissioner to Rwanda, H.E. Jaspal Singh, paid a courtesy call on Rwanda’s Minister of State, Usta Kayitesi. The meeting reaffirmed both countries’ commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation and strengthening diplomatic relations.
H.E. Jaspal Singh, High Commissioner of Singapore to Rwanda, paid a courtesy call on Rwanda’s Minister of State, Dr. Usta Kayitesi, on the evening of 13 July 2026. The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to reaffirm the warm and constructive relationship between Singapore and Rwanda.

During the courtesy call, Minister of State Dr. Usta Kayitesi and High Commissioner H.E. Jaspal Singh exchanged views on ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation across areas of mutual interest. Their discussions reflected the shared commitment of both governments to deepen engagement and expand collaboration.

The meeting underscored the importance of maintaining close diplomatic ties and fostering partnerships that contribute to the continued development of Singapore–Rwanda relations. Both sides recognised the value of regular dialogue in advancing common priorities and promoting mutual understanding.

Singapore and Rwanda have enjoyed friendly relations built on cooperation and shared aspirations for sustainable development and economic progress. The courtesy call reaffirmed both countries’ commitment to working together to strengthen bilateral ties and explore new opportunities for future collaboration.
