In addition to technical learning, the young entrepreneurs enhanced their business capabilities through pitch training, personalised coaching sessions, and direct engagements with Singaporean start-up founders. These exchanges offered practical insights into building scalable agribusinesses, fostering innovation, and navigating the evolving agritech landscape.

On 10 July, the participants, accompanied by Philippine Agricultural Attaché for Southeast Asia, Ms Annalyn L. Lopez-Jamora, and officials from the Department of Agriculture, paid a courtesy call on Philippine Ambassador Medardo G. Macaraig. During the meeting, Ambassador Macaraig commended the participants for their innovative ideas and encouraged them to apply the knowledge and sustainable, forward-looking practices gained during the programme to strengthen the Philippine agricultural sector.

The immersion programme reflects the Philippines’ continued commitment to nurturing young agricultural entrepreneurs while reinforcing collaboration with Singapore in agribusiness innovation, technology, and capacity building. By empowering emerging agri-preneurs with global exposure and practical expertise, the initiative supports the development of a more sustainable and future-ready agricultural industry.
