Thailand’s student team delivered an outstanding performance at the Singapore International Math Olympiad Challenge (SIMOC) 2026, securing a total of 58 medals. Representatives from the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore joined the awards ceremony to celebrate the students’ remarkable achievements.
Thailand’s young mathematicians achieved outstanding success at the Singapore International Math Olympiad Challenge (SIMOC) 2026, bringing home an impressive total of 58 medals. Their achievements highlight the country’s growing strength in mathematics and international academic competitions, reflecting the dedication, talent and perseverance of Thailand’s brightest students.
The Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore joined the celebrations at the SIMOC 2026 Awards Ceremony, held on 21 July at the Grand Ballroom, Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre. Mrs. Chonlatee Chanrachakul, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission, represented the Embassy and congratulated the Thai delegation, recognising both the students and the parents who travelled to Singapore to support their participation in the prestigious international competition.
Thailand secured an impressive medal haul of 10 Gold Medals, 20 Silver Medals and 28 Bronze Medals, demonstrating the team’s strong performance across multiple categories of the competition. The results reflect the students’ commitment to academic excellence and their ability to compete successfully alongside talented participants from around the world.
The Embassy commended the students for their hard work, passion and perseverance, noting that their accomplishments have brought immense pride to Thailand. It also acknowledged the unwavering support of parents, teachers and mentors whose guidance played a significant role in the students’ success on the international stage.
