Mr. Václav Kobera, Director of the Department of New Technologies and Space Agency at the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade, visited Singapore to explore the country’s space ecosystem and discuss opportunities for future cooperation.

The delegation met Chief Executive Ms. Ngiam Le Na and her team at the National Space Agency of Singapore (NSAS), where both sides discussed potential collaboration between the Czech Republic and Singapore in the space sector.

The programme also included meetings with Senior Director Mr. Tan Chee Seng at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Professor Abhishek Rai at the Satellite Technology and Research (STAR) Centre at the National University of Singapore, and Professor Lim Wee Seng at the Satellite Research Centre (SaRC) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, to gain insights into Singapore’s space research landscape.

The itinerary included visits to ST Engineering, Addvalue Technologies, Transcelestial, and the Singapore Space & Technology Think Tank Space Lab, where the delegation explored opportunities for cooperation between Czech and Singaporean space companies.
