Mongolia and Singapore discussed plans for their next business forum and opportunities in trade, investment, carbon credits, energy and logistics.
H.E. Dr Uyanga Ganbold, Ambassador of Mongolia to the Republic of Singapore, received Mr. Wong Jia Wei, Senior Director for Northeast Asia at the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), and Ms. Yvonne Zou, Assistant Manager for Northeast Asia, International Business Division at SBF, on 20 August 2026.
The meeting focused on strengthening business engagement between Mongolia and Singapore, including plans for the Embassy of Mongolia in Singapore and SBF to jointly organise the next business forum.
H.E. Dr Ganbold and the SBF representatives also exchanged views on opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation in trade and investment, alongside sectors such as carbon credits, energy and logistics.
SBF promotes trade, investment and business partnerships between Singapore and Northeast Asian countries. In its engagement with Mongolia, the federation has supported business connections through business-to-business meetings and joint events.
