A study visit to Singapore, awarded through the “Wielkopolska for the Planet 2030” competition, included discussions with Poland’s Ambassador on business, science and technology cooperation with Singapore.

A meeting was held with H.E. Tadeusz Chomicki, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Singapore, at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Singapore, to discuss opportunities for building cooperation with partners in the city-state.

Discussions covered what it is like to do business and establish relationships in Singapore, along with ways to foster scientific and technological collaboration between the two countries. The meeting also provided a deeper understanding of the Singaporean market, local culture, history, and the inner workings of the city-state.

Among the topics discussed was the potential for collaboration between Singapore and universities in the Wielkopolska region of Poland, including Poznan University of Technology, as well as opportunities to develop further scientific and technological ties between the two countries.

The visit was undertaken as part of a study and research trip awarded through the “Wielkopolska for the Planet 2030” competition, organised by the Marshal’s Office of the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship, showing the growing interest among Polish regional institutions in strengthening ties with Singapore.
