At the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Dato’ Dr. Isham Jaafar of Brunei Darussalam will be in Singapore from February 8 to February 10 as part of the S. R. Nathan Fellowship.
Dato’ Isham will have meetings with Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lawrence Wong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Teo Chee Hean, Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security, and Ong Ye Kung, Minister of Health . Dato’ Isham will also visit the National University of Singapore’s Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and attend briefings from organizations on Singapore’s public health policies.
The S. R. Nathan Fellowship is a prestigious program that invites world-renowned figures, opinion-makers, and leaders to Singapore to discuss topics of shared interest with senior Singaporean government officials. Former President S R Nathan and then-Minister for Foreign Affairs K Shanmugam established the Fellowship in November 2012.
