The Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore, Suryo Pratomo, visited the SME exhibition on 8 April 2023 to show his support for the initiative and strengthen economic ties between Indonesia and Singapore.
On 8 April 2023, the Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore, Suryo Pratomo, visited the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Trade Mission exhibition at West Mall, Singapore. During his visit, the ambassador had the opportunity to meet with the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) entrepreneurs and learn more about their products. The ambassador expressed his appreciation for the initiative taken by KADIN and the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore to promote Indonesian SME products in Singapore, and hoped that this event would strengthen the economic ties between Indonesia and Singapore.
Not only visiting, at the Bazaar for Indonesian MSME products at West Mall Singapore, the Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore Suryo Pratomo also introduced them to the international market.
“We appreciate Pak Tommy’s attention (Suryo Pratomo’s nickname) so that Indonesian MSME products can win the Singapore market,” Director of Business Services at KADIN Indonesia, Sutan Banuara, Sunday (9/4).
The Singapore market really cares about the quality of healthy and safe products for the community, the ability to supply large quantities according to market needs and consistency in maintaining product quality and quantity in a sustainable manner.
“Therefore, through the Indonesian MSME superior product bazaar, the collaboration between the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with 11 BUMNs in Indonesia will become a Trade Mission activity that can be carried out periodically/annually calendar,” he said.
The KADIN Trade Mission is part of the Indonesian government’s effort to boost the country’s economy through the promotion of its local products abroad. The event also provides a platform for SME entrepreneurs to showcase their products and network with potential business partners. The visit by the Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore highlights the importance of this event and the commitment of the Indonesian government in promoting its SME products overseas.
