The Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) convened a roundtable discussion in collaboration with the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) and GUUD Company, featuring esteemed guests from both Rwanda and Singapore.
The Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) organized a roundtable discussion themed “East Africa’s Emerging Markets: Rwanda Business Outlook,” in partnership with the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) and GUUD Company.
The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests including Prof. Manasseh Nshuti, Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, His Excellency Jean De Dieu UWIHANGANYE, High Commissioner of Rwanda to Singapore, and Mr. Jaspal Singh, Singapore’s non-resident High Commissioner to Rwanda. They shared valuable insights on the advantages of investing in the Rwandan market.
During the event, SMF President Mr. Lennon Tan extended a warm welcome to company representatives from both Rwanda and Singapore. He also reaffirmed SMF’s commitment to supporting internationalization efforts of its members. Mr. Desmond Tay, a member of the SMF Council, took charge of moderating a Q&A session with Prof. Nshuti and Mr. Dennis Gatera, Head of Transaction at the Rwanda Development Board.
Looking ahead, the SMF anticipates further collaboration with Rwandan partners to provide robust support for SMF members expressing interest in venturing into the Rwandan market.
