The BAP Union, the world’s second-largest training ship and a floating emblem of Peruvian diplomacy, made a significant arrival at Changi Naval Base earlier today.

Ambassador Carlos Vasquez and Colonel Francis Goh, Commander of the 9th Flotilla, led the welcoming party for Captain José Luis Arce Corzo, the Commanding Officer of the B.A.P. Unión, and their fellow Peruvian and Singaporean counterparts.

Singapore, the solitary Southeast Asian port on the ship’s inaugural 10-month circumnavigation, hosted the vessel from the 9th to the 13th of October. This docking underscores the robust ties shared between Peru and Singapore, further fortifying their diplomatic relations.
