THE Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary, Ivan John Uy, engaged in a productive meeting with Singapore’s Minister for Communications and Information, Ms. Josephine Teo, on October 16, 2023. The meeting, held on the eve of the Singapore International Cyber Week, became a pivotal platform for high-level discussions on crucial matters pertaining to communications, information technology, and cybersecurity.
The deliberations culminated in a mutual commitment to fortify collaborative efforts in cybersecurity and intensify cooperation in the digital domain. This marks a significant step forward in fostering innovation, technology transfer, and cyber resilience between the Philippines and Singapore, as well as within the broader ASEAN region.
