The US Embassy in Singapore hosted 70 Scouts from Troop 07, 10, and 1010 to discuss bilateral cooperation and learn flag etiquette.
THIS week, the US Embassy in Singapore hosted 70 Scouts from Troop 07, 10, and 1010. Representatives from the Economic, Political, Management, and Public Diplomacy Sections, and the Marine Security Guards engaged with the Scouts to discuss how the embassy works with Singaporean friends to improve safety, security, and prosperity in Singapore, the United States, and the region.
During the event, the Marines taught the Scouts how to properly display, raise, fold, and show respect for the U.S. flag, emphasizing the importance of flag etiquette and national symbols.
