Minister Liu Jianchao, from the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, concludes his visit to Singapore, strengthening ties and fostering dialogue.
Minister Liu Jianchao, representing the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, completed his visit to Singapore today, 28 April 2024. During his stay, Minister Liu engaged in high-level meetings, including with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong, Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies Heng Swee Keat, and Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan. These meetings aimed to deepen cooperation and understanding between China and Singapore.
Additionally, Minister Liu participated in the FutureChina Dialogue, themed “Challenges and Vision: Asia’s Future Amidst Changes” on 27 April 2024, where he delivered a keynote speech that resonated with the audience, receiving enthusiastic applause. The dialogue provided a platform for discussing future collaborations and strategies between China and Singapore, further enhancing bilateral relations.
The visit of Minister Liu Jianchao underscores the importance both countries place on maintaining strong ties and fostering mutual understanding. Minister Liu’s engagements in Singapore have further solidified the relationship between the two nations, paving the way for continued cooperation and partnership in various sectors.
