The Ambassador and the Managing Director of PTT International Trading Pte. Ltd. (PTTT) on highlighting collaboration in energy security and green energy to enhance Thailand-Singapore economic relations.
On April 12, 2024, Ambassador Ureerat Chareontoh welcomed Mrs. Tanunporn Tangpithakkul, Managing Director of PTT International Trading Pte. Ltd. (PTTT), who paid a courtesy call on the occasion of Thai New Year and congratulated the Ambassador on her assumption of duty in Singapore.
During the meeting, Ambassador Ureerat reiterated her intention to strengthen collaboration between the government and business sectors to expand economic relations between Thailand and Singapore. Special focus was placed on areas such as energy security and green energy, highlighting PTTT’s role as a key supporter and participant in the Embassy’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.
Both sides also discussed upcoming activities to celebrate His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on July 28, 2024, as well as initiatives to empower the Thai community in Singapore and expand business opportunities in the city-state. Additionally, plans were discussed for various activities to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Singapore in 2025.
