The meeting follows the successful 6th Informal Consultations on the Philippines-Singapore Action Plan (IC-PSAP), a bilateral mechanism for dialogue between the two countries’ foreign ministries, last convened in February 2024.

During the meeting, both sides engaged in an open and fruitful discussion on the state of bilateral relations and areas for further collaboration. The year 2024 marks the 55th year since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Singapore, with ties remaining robust and dynamic, marked by several high-level visits each year.

In addition to bilateral relations, both sides exchanged views on various international and regional developments, reflecting the shared commitment of the Philippines and Singapore to engage in constructive dialogue on global issues.
