SINGAPORE, 8 October 2024 – The Rising Rajasthan Singapore Investor Meet was held at Katong Ballroom, Shangri-La Singapore, featuring a press interaction session with Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore, the Hon’ble Minister for Industry & Commerce of the Government of Rajasthan, India. This event aimed to promote the upcoming Rising Rajasthan – Global Investment Summit 2024 and to explore various business and investment prospects within the state.
Rajasthan, known as India’s largest state, presents significant investment potential with a strategic focus on various sectors, including renewable energy, urban planning, tourism, fintech, and more. During the session, Minister Rathore, accompanied by a high-level delegation, elaborated on the state’s unique advantages, including its abundant mineral wealth, rich cultural heritage, and skilled workforce. He emphasized that Rajasthan’s investor-friendly ecosystem and robust infrastructure, such as key expressways and extensive rail and air connectivity, position it as an attractive destination for global investors.
The Government of Rajasthan is set to host the “Rising Rajasthan – Global Investment Summit 2024” from 9 to 11 December 2024 in Jaipur. This three-day summit will gather policymakers, corporate leaders, academia, and think tanks from around the world to discuss and forge partnerships for the inclusive development of the state. The event will feature conferences, panel discussions, presentations, and one-to-one business meetings, aimed at enhancing business and investment exchanges between Singapore and Rajasthan.
