H.E. Abdullah Alswaha addressed an audience at Stanford University, outlining Saudi Arabia’s ambitious vision for technological advancement. He compared the rise of artificial intelligence to the early days of the internet, emphasising the shift from hardware to software-driven value creation.

During his lecture, Alswaha detailed Saudi Arabia’s key investment areas, including semiconductors, AI infrastructure, and its applications in sectors such as energy and healthcare. He highlighted how these initiatives align with Vision 2030, positioning Saudi Arabia as a global technology hub.

The minister also underscored Saudi Arabia’s commitment to fostering innovation by supporting disruptive startups and attracting global tech talent. The Kingdom’s strategy focuses on developing advanced computing solutions and energy-efficient technologies to drive sustainable growth.

The event reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s role in shaping the future of AI and emerging technologies, encouraging investors, tech leaders, and innovators to explore opportunities in the Kingdom.
