​Gardens by the Bay’s Flower Dome transforms into a vibrant tapestry of Türkiye’s cultural legacy.​

SINGAPORE – The 2025 edition of Tulipmania has officially opened at Gardens by the Bay, offering visitors an immersive journey through Türkiye’s rich cultural and historical tapestry. Running from 17 April to 12 May 2025, the exhibition features over 65,000 tulips set against life-sized replicas of iconic Turkish landmarks.

The opening ceremony on 23 April was graced by Singapore’s Minister for Education, Mr Chan Chun Sing, Türkiye’s Ambassador to Singapore, His Excellency Mehmet Burçin Gönenli, and Gardens by the Bay CEO, Mr Felix Loh. Ambassador Gönenli highlighted the exhibition as a symbol of the enduring friendship and strategic partnership between Singapore and Türkiye, coinciding with Singapore’s 60th year of independence.

Visitors can explore detailed recreations of Türkiye’s historical sites, including the legendary Trojan Horse, the ancient pillars of Göbekli Tepe, and the stone houses of Mardin. Complementing these are traditional Turkish art forms such as mosaic designs and marbling (ebru) demonstrations, offering a holistic cultural experience.

The exhibition also features performances by renowned Turkish percussionist Burhan Öçal and his ensemble, Trio Leila, adding a rhythmic dimension to the visual spectacle.

A collaborative effort, Tulipmania 2025 is organized by Gardens by the Bay in partnership with the Turkish Embassy in Singapore, Turkish Airlines, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Türkiye, and the Izmir Olgunlaşma Institute. This marks the third consecutive year of Türkiye’s participation, reflecting a deepening cultural exchange between the two nations. ​

Visitors are encouraged to participate in the “Snap and Win” campaign by sharing photos of the exhibition on social media, with a chance to win return tickets to Türkiye, courtesy of Turkish Airlines. ​
