A new partnership aims to boost media visibility and public engagement in Singapore’s manufacturing landscape.

Singapore, 23 May 2025 – The Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) and Sun Media Singapore have formally entered into a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), setting the stage for enhanced communications and outreach across the nation’s manufacturing sector.

Signed at a ceremony attended by industry and diplomatic representatives, the MOU designates Sun Media as SMF’s preferred communications partner for select TGIF@SMF sessions and other key industry events. The collaboration seeks to promote storytelling, increase editorial exposure, and raise the profile of manufacturing excellence in Singapore.

The agreement was signed by Mr Dennis Mark, Chief Executive Officer of SMF, and Ms Nomita Dhar, Founding Editor of Sun Media. It was witnessed by Mr Melvin Tan, Vice President and Honorary Secretary of SMF, and Mr Umid Khojikhonov, Third Secretary at the Embassy of Uzbekistan.

Joining with Ms. Nomita at the event special guests including Mr Ciro Pérez Silva, Second Secretary at the Embassy of Mexico, and Ms Susie Wong, Director of RPA AGENCY PTE LTD.

Key objectives of the partnership include joint promotion of key industry initiatives, increase editorial and media coverage for SMF members via Sun Media, enable co-branded storytelling and thought leadership content, and expand cross-sector visibility through diplomatic and business networks.

This initiative underscores the shared vision of SMF and Sun Media to champion the evolving narrative of Singapore’s manufacturing sector, fostering greater engagement both locally and on the global stage.
