From 27 to 29 May 2025, Rajeev Chandrasekhar visits Singapore to engage with leaders and speak at the Asia Tech x Singapore conference.

Rajeev Chandrasekhar, President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Kerala, is on an official visit to Singapore from 27 to 29 May 2025 under the prestigious S R Nathan Fellowship programme. His visit is hosted at the invitation of Singapore’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr Vivian Balakrishnan.

During his stay, Mr Chandrasekhar will hold meetings with key government leaders including Minister Balakrishnan and Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, and Second Minister for Finance and National Development, Indranee Rajah, who will host him to lunch. He is also scheduled to meet with Senior Minister of State for Digital Development and Information and Health, Tan Kiat How.

As part of his engagements, Mr Chandrasekhar will attend and deliver remarks at the ATxSummit, a flagship event of Asia Tech x Singapore organised by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). In addition, he will meet with representatives from the Institute of South Asian Studies.

The S R Nathan Fellowship, launched in 2012 by former President S R Nathan and then-Foreign Minister K Shanmugam, is designed to foster meaningful exchanges between Singapore and foreign leaders, opinion shapers, and policymakers. It provides a platform to discuss shared challenges and deepen mutual understanding.
