Singapore to host third edition of global interfaith and multicultural dialogue conference in milestone year.

SINGAPORE – The third edition of the International Conference on Cohesive Societies (ICCS) will return in 2025 with the theme “Cohesive Societies, Resilient Futures”, continuing its mission to foster global dialogue on multiculturalism and the foundations of harmony in diversity.

Founded in 2019 and mooted by former President of Singapore Halimah Yacob, ICCS has led conversations on interfaith and intercultural understanding. Over 2,200 participants from more than 52 countries have taken part in the conference and its related programmes.

ICCS 2025 will focus on three thematic pillars: Unpacking Multiculturalism, Navigating Uncertainty, and Forging Societal Resilience. These themes will be explored through a series of plenaries, breakout discussions, and skills workshops designed to equip policymakers, academics, civil society leaders, and youth delegates with practical tools to build stronger communities.

The conference will once again be held in Singapore—one of the world’s most religiously diverse countries—making it an apt location to examine global and local models of social harmony. Participants will engage in meaningful exchanges on how societies can uphold inclusive values and withstand contemporary challenges.
