
Senior officials reaffirm partnership and discuss enhanced collaboration in trade, investment, and regional affairs.
On 18 June 2025 in Astana, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Alibek Bakayev, met with the Ambassador of Singapore to Kazakhstan, Zulkifli Baharudin, to discuss ways to deepen bilateral cooperation. Both sides praised the outcomes of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s state visit to Singapore in May 2024 and committed to advancing the agreements made during that occasion.

“Kazakhstan and Singapore enjoy a longstanding and robust partnership built on mutual respect, trust and common interests”, A.Bakayev noted.
The meeting covered prospects for expanding trade and economic ties, enhancing investment and transport links, and strengthening collaboration through international and regional platforms. The diplomats also exchanged views on global and regional developments and reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining open and constructive dialogue between the two nations.
