Singapore’s Senior Minister of State Sim Ann joins international leaders at FFD4 in Seville to strengthen global cooperation on sustainable development financing.

Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs Sim Ann is attending the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4) in Seville from 30 June to 3 July 2025.

Held under the theme “Financing our Future”, the FFD4 brings together high-level representatives from governments, international organisations, financial institutions, and the private sector to discuss strategies for mobilising financial resources to advance global development. A key outcome of the Conference will be the adoption of the “Compromiso de Sevilla”, a renewed international framework for financing sustainable development and accelerating progress on the 2030 Agenda.

SMS Sim will deliver Singapore’s national statement and contribute to two high-level roundtables focused on mobilising domestic public resources and upholding multilateral trade through science, technology, and innovation. She will also participate in the International Business Forum held alongside the main conference, and hold bilateral meetings with counterparts on the sidelines.

SMS Sim is accompanied by a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
