The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand leads Thai entrepreneurs to expand international market presence through Thailand Showcase 2025 in the UK.

As part of the “From Local to Global” initiative, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand led a delegation of six Thai entrepreneurs to participate in the Thailand Showcase 2025, held in London, United Kingdom, from 27 to 30 June 2025. The mission, headed by H.E. Ms. Chayika Wongnapachant, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, aimed to promote Thai local products on the global stage and assess their potential appeal among British consumers.

The participating entrepreneurs—Khwanta, Panidar, Nodething, My Moon, Varni, and Yanet—presented their goods at the exhibition and engaged in a series of networking sessions with UK-based importers and business operators. A highlight of the visit included discussions with Selfridges, one of the UK’s leading department stores, to introduce Thai products and explore potential retail partnerships. H.E. Mr. Nadhavathna Krishnamra, Ambassador of Thailand to the UK, also lent his support at the event.

The “From Local to Global” initiative is designed to strengthen Thailand’s grassroots economy by enhancing the competitiveness of local entrepreneurs in international markets. In collaboration with key agencies such as the Department of Community Development, Department of International Trade Promotion, and the Creative Economy Agency, the Ministry continues to support business-matching activities and Thai cultural festivals in target cities worldwide, thereby expanding foreign market access for high-potential Thai products.
