At the invitation of the High Commission of India in Singapore, a Manipuri cultural troupe sent by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) enthralled audiences during the LISHA Utsav Parade and Deepavali Light-Up Ceremony 2025. The occasion, held in the presence of Singapore’s President, Foreign Minister, and dignitaries, highlighted the deep cultural ties between India and Singapore.

The group performed at Our Tampines Hub, where their graceful dances and powerful drum rhythms offered a vibrant glimpse into the rich traditions of Manipur. Spectators responded warmly, applauding the energy and elegance of the performance.

Campbell Lane also transformed into a stage of colour and sound as the troupe performed in front of the Indian Heritage Centre. The street resonated with rhythmic drum beats, flowing dance movements, and a striking display of Manipuri martial arts. Large crowds gathered, captivated by the showcase of Manipur’s cultural heritage.
