ART SG 2026 highlights the vibrancy of Filipino contemporary art, with leading Philippine galleries and artists presenting diverse practices as part of Singapore Art Week
ART SG 2026, Southeast Asia’s leading international art fair, is showcasing strong participation from Philippine galleries and Filipino contemporary artists at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, running until 25 January 2026 as part of Singapore Art Week. The Philippine Embassy has invited art enthusiasts, collectors, and the public to explore presentations that engage with themes of memory, devotion, migration, labour, and impermanence through painting, sculpture, and lens-based works.

Among the highlights, STPI is participating across ART SG and S.E.A. Focus, as well as the inaugural Print Show & Symposium Singapore, celebrating contemporary art through print and paper. At S.E.A. Focus, STPI is spotlighting Alfredo and Isabel Aquilizan, whose iconic balikbayan box works, reconfigured into houses and ships, explore memory, displacement, and community within the Filipino diaspora. Their practice reflects sustained engagement with lived experience and transnational identity.

The Drawing Room Manila is presenting Soft Articulations by Amy Aragon, Chelsea Theodossis, and Matina Partosa, marking the gallery’s first fair of 2026 and positioning painting as a site of uncertainty, memory, and embodied experience. Concurrently at S.E.A. Focus, the gallery is featuring a collaborative work by Rirkrit Tiravanija and Tomas Vu alongside England Hidalgo, underscoring long-term inquiry and resistance to fixed artistic forms.
Other notable presentations include Silverlens Galleries, which is showcasing works by Imelda Cajipe Endaya and Nicole Coson that trace narratives of migration, labour, and craft across borders. Gajah Gallery is spanning multiple sections of ART SG and S.E.A. Focus, bringing together Filipino masters such as BenCab, Charlie Co, and Leslie de Chavez with regional artists to foster interregional dialogue. Artinformal is debuting an expanded roster, including spotlight artist Raena Abella and new works by Kristoffer Ardeña at S.E.A. Focus, reinforcing the Philippines’ vital contribution to global contemporary art conversations.
