Qatar’s Ambassador to Singapore met the Chief Executive Officer of DBS Group to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation, with a focus on finance and investment
His Excellency Ambassador Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al-Malki recently held a meeting with Ms. Tan Su Shan, the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of DBS Group. DBS Group is recognised as the largest bank and financial institution in both Singapore and Southeast Asia.
During the engagement, both parties underscored the strength of existing bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and Singapore. The core focus of the discussion centred on exploring strategies to enhance cooperation, particularly in the financial and investment sectors.
The meeting also provided a platform for the exchange of views on various regional and international developments. In addition, the Ambassador and the Chief Executive Officer addressed a number of issues of mutual interest.
This dialogue reaffirmed the commitment of both sides to deepening economic ties and exploring further avenues for collaboration between key financial institutions and government representatives.
