The engagement highlighted youth development, skills building and the importance of emerging technologies for Rwanda’s long-term growth
Rwanda’s High Commissioner to Singapore, Innocent B. Muhizi, received a delegation of 36 students and four accompanying teachers from Green Hills Academy during their educational visit to Singapore.

The visit formed part of the school’s international exposure programme, aimed at broadening students’ global perspectives and understanding of education and innovation ecosystems outside Rwanda.
During the engagement, High Commissioner Muhizi encouraged the students to remain forward-looking and to continuously develop competencies in emerging fields, particularly artificial intelligence. He noted that such critical knowledge and skills would be increasingly important in a rapidly evolving global economy.
He further emphasised that investing in education and future-ready skills would enable young Rwandans to play a central role in supporting Rwanda’s long-term development aspirations, positioning youth as key drivers of sustainable national progress.
