A high-level forum in Singapore convened regional leaders and thinkers to explore how Vietnam and Singapore can jointly drive ASEAN’s sustainable and inclusive growth towards 2045.
On 18 April 2026, leaders, scholars, entrepreneurs, and diplomats convened in Singapore for the forum Vietnam – Singapore Partnership for Growth towards ASEAN 2045, a platform for open and strategic dialogue on building a more prosperous, sustainable, and interconnected region.
Held as part of the broader Vietnam – Singapore Partnership for Growth week (16–19 April 2026), the forum brought together cross-sector perspectives centred on three key pillars of bilateral cooperation: technology, education, and culture.

Delivering the opening remarks, Ambassador H.E. Trần Phước Anh highlighted the deepening strategic alignment between Vietnam and Singapore, emphasising not only the strength of bilateral ties but also their shared responsibility in shaping ASEAN’s future. As Vietnam’s Ambassador to Singapore, he plays a pivotal role in advancing diplomatic, economic, and cultural cooperation between the two nations.
In his address, Ambassador H.E. Trần Phước Anh underscored the significance of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, describing it as a forward-looking framework that enables both countries to collaborate more closely across key sectors, including innovation, education, and sustainable development. He also reiterated Vietnam’s commitment to fostering regional connectivity and multilateral cooperation, positioning the Vietnam–Singapore relationship as a catalyst for broader ASEAN integration and resilience

The forum featured two panel discussions addressing practical pathways forward. The first focused on technology-driven growth, highlighting the evolution of the “Dual Engine 2.0” model in the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership era. The second explored how ASEAN’s soft power—spanning culture, creativity, and human capital—can be translated into tangible economic value.
A key highlight of the event was the introduction of the Rồng Xanh Fellowship, led by Mrs. Nguyen Thanh Giang, Co-Founder & CEO of Vietnam Brand Purpose. The initiative aims to build a global network that connects resources, supports creative projects, and strengthens strategic capacity for Vietnamese communities worldwide.
Co-organised by Vietnam Brand Purpose, Stamford Global Leadership Center, Silver Lion Enterprise Impact, and Rồng Xanh Fellowship, the forum reflects a growing emphasis on cross-border collaboration as ASEAN looks ahead to 2045.
