Singapore, 3 May 2026 — KRI Bima Suci, carrying the Task Force for the Kartika Jala Krida (KJK) 2026 voyage of cadets from the Indonesian Naval Academy (AAL) 73rd class, completed a goodwill port call in Singapore as part of its maritime diplomatic mission across Asia and Europe.

The vessel arrived at Changi Naval Base on 30 April 2026 and was received by representatives from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore and the Republic of Singapore Navy. The reception included diplomatic and defence officials, reflecting the ceremonial and cooperative nature of the visit.

During its stay, the vessel conducted a series of maritime diplomacy activities, including a courtesy call to the Maritime Training and Doctrine Command of the Singapore Navy, a deck reception, and cultural performances by the Indonesian Naval Academy cadets. The programme also featured presentations of Indonesian traditional arts and culinary offerings, aimed at fostering cultural exchange.

A deck reception hosted aboard KRI Bima Suci was attended by H.E. Hotmangaradja Pandjaitan, along with Indonesian Navy officials, representatives of the Singapore Armed Forces, members of the diplomatic corps, and invited guests. The event highlighted Indonesia’s cultural diversity through traditional dance performances and cultural presentations by the cadet contingent.

The visit formed part of Indonesia’s broader naval diplomacy efforts to strengthen bilateral relations with Singapore, enhance maritime cooperation, and promote people-to-people engagement through educational and cultural exchange programmes.

On 3 May 2026, KRI Bima Suci departed Singapore to continue its fifth voyage leg to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The vessel’s departure was marked by a ceremonial send-off involving Indonesian embassy officials, a parade roll, and musical performances by the naval cadet band.
