April saw a series of cultural, diplomatic, and community events hosted by the Embassy of Poland in Singapore, including Poland Shiok Festival, Polish Weekend @ Stevens, and national celebrations.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Singapore had an active and eventful April, marked by cultural promotion, diplomatic engagement, and community outreach.

At the start of the month, the Embassy shared Easter greetings with the Polish and international community, wishing health, peace, and joy. The Embassy and its Consular Section were closed from 3 to 6 April for the holiday period.

A major highlight of the month was the ongoing Poland Shiok Festival, which celebrated Polish culture in Singapore through music, film screenings, exhibitions, culinary experiences, and public talks. The festival also featured interactive performances such as “Chopin vs. AI,” which explored the relationship between music and technology.

The Embassy also hosted and supported the Singapore debut recital of renowned Polish countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński, who performed alongside pianist Michał Biel. The event drew strong audience engagement and highlighted Poland’s contribution to international classical music.

Another key event was Polish Weekend @ Stevens, held as part of Poland Shiok. The weekend included a family picnic, cultural activities, and an authentic Polish brunch prepared by chefs from Poland, offering guests a taste of traditional cuisine and hospitality.

Diplomatic celebrations also took place in April, including Poland’s 3rd May Constitution Day reception. The event brought together diplomats, government representatives, business leaders, and members of the public to celebrate Polish history and strengthen Poland–Singapore relations.

The Embassy also hosted a press night in collaboration with the Singapore Press Club and Novotel @ Stevens, showcasing Polish culture, cuisine, tourism, and economic development. Guests experienced traditional Polish dishes prepared by chef Sebastian Kornacki.
