The East Asia Summit (EAS) Senior Officials’ Meeting was held in Manila, bringing together EAS Senior Officials and the Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for the ASEAN Political-Security Community. The meeting reviewed the implementation of the EAS Plan of Action (2024–2028) and exchanged views on regional and international developments.

The meeting served as a platform for participating countries to assess progress in EAS cooperation and discuss key regional issues. Officials reaffirmed the importance of continued collaboration under the EAS framework to support regional peace, stability, and development.

Participants also discussed preparations for the 16th EAS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, scheduled for July 2026, and the 21st East Asia Summit, to be held in November 2026. The discussions aimed to support productive outcomes and strengthen cooperation among EAS participating countries.
