The High Commission of Sri Lanka in Singapore promoted Pure Ceylon Tea during a business networking luncheon held on 25 June 2026 at the Chinese Swimming Club. The event, themed “Future Ready: A Focus on AI, Health and Science,” brought together professionals, entrepreneurs, academics, and industry leaders to exchange perspectives on developments in technology, healthcare, and innovation while providing an opportunity to showcase one of Sri Lanka’s flagship export products.

The tea promotion formed part of the networking luncheon, which served as a platform for engagement among members of Singapore’s business and professional community. Alongside discussions on emerging technologies and innovation, the High Commission introduced guests to premium Ceylon Tea as part of its broader trade promotion and economic diplomacy initiatives.
During the event, Senarath Dissanayake and Ms. Bhagya Abeykoon engaged with attendees, highlighting the distinctive flavour, aroma, quality, and heritage of Sri Lanka’s internationally recognised tea. They underscored the significance of Ceylon Tea as one of the country’s leading export products and shared insights into its longstanding reputation in global markets.
