Adorned with approximately 300,000 pieces of colourful glass, the temple earned a place in the Malaysia Book of Records in 2010, making it a must-visit destination for travellers seeking a unique cultural experience.
Although its exterior resembles a traditional South Indian Hindu temple, the true spectacle awaits inside. Every surface—from towering pillars and ornate domes to walls, doors and ceilings—is intricately decorated with shimmering glass mosaics that reflect light in dazzling patterns.
Elegant chandeliers enhance the radiant atmosphere, while the sacred Athma Lingam sanctuary forms the spiritual heart of the temple, where Hindu devotees offer prayers to Lord Shiva. The walls are further embellished with thousands of Mukhi Rudraksha beads, each carefully embedded following sacred prayers, adding both spiritual and artistic significance to the sanctuary.
Beyond its stunning architecture, the temple also conveys profound messages through its sculptures and artwork.
