The discussion also recognised the achievements of Perennial Holdings, a subsidiary of Wilmar International, which invested in China’s first wholly foreign-owned hospital. The project reflects the expanding opportunities available to international investors following China’s ongoing efforts to further open its healthcare sector and promote high-standard economic opening-up.

Looking ahead, Ambassador Cao expressed his hope that Wilmar International would continue to capitalise on the opportunities created by China’s continued reforms and opening-up.
