The Philippine Embassy in Singapore visited the National Museum of Singapore to celebrate the creativity, resilience and stories of Filipino migrant workers featured in the Migrant Workers Photography Festival 2026.
The Philippine Embassy in Singapore recently visited the National Museum of Singapore to view the inspiring photographic works showcased at the Migrant Workers Photography Festival (MWPF) 2026. The exhibition highlights the experiences, perspectives and creativity of migrant workers in Singapore through photography.
The Embassy congratulated the Filipino participants whose works were recognised in this year’s festival. Renelyn Fuentes was named the winner in the Series Category, while Jenelyn Leyble, Rose Vilog and Donica Villamor were selected as finalists in the same category. Janelyn Dupingay was also named a finalist in the Singles Category.
Their recognition reflects the creativity, talent and resilience of the Filipino community in Singapore. Through their photographs, the participants offer personal perspectives and meaningful stories that celebrate the lives and experiences of migrant workers, while contributing to greater appreciation of their diverse contributions to society.
The Migrant Workers Photography Festival 2026 exhibition is open to the public at the National Museum of Singapore until 30 September 2026. Visitors can explore the featured works and discover the stories behind the photographs, with admission to the exhibition free of charge.
