IN Diplomacy strengthens engagement with Malaysia’s new High Commissioner through courtesy meeting and discussion on future collaboration
Ms Nomita Dhar, Editor-in-Chief of IN Diplomacy, paid a courtesy call on Her Excellency Datin Paduka Anizan Siti Hajjar binti Adnin, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Singapore, on 18 August 2026. The meeting provided an opportunity to welcome the newly appointed High Commissioner and introduce IN Diplomacy’s ongoing diplomatic coverage and special edition initiatives.
During the courtesy call, Ms Nomita Dhar introduced IN Diplomacy and its work in covering diplomatic relations, government engagements and developments across Singapore and the wider region. She also briefed the High Commissioner on the publication’s special editions and its role in providing a platform for diplomatic missions to highlight key bilateral engagements, national priorities and areas of cooperation.
The meeting highlighted opportunities for continued engagement between the High Commission of Malaysia and IN Diplomacy. Both sides expressed readiness to maintain communication and explore potential areas of collaboration, including future special editions, editorial coverage and diplomatic initiatives.
As High Commissioner Anizan Siti Hajjar begins her tenure in Singapore, the courtesy call marked an initial engagement between the newly appointed Head of Mission and IN Diplomacy. Further discussions and collaboration are expected as the publication continues its coverage of Malaysia-Singapore relations and activities involving the High Commission.
