The forum recorded several outcomes in financial markets and investment. A total of 3.7 billion yuan in Dim Sum bonds was listed on the Astana International Exchange (AIX), adding to the range of financial instruments available through Kazakhstan’s financial centre.

The event also saw the launch of Central Asia’s first exchange-based voluntary carbon credit trading initiative. The development introduced a new platform for voluntary carbon credit transactions within the region.

Mining and creative industry pitch sessions resulted in 13 letters of intent. These followed engagements between participating businesses and prospective partners during the forum.

The ninth edition of the forum continued the AIFC’s programme of international financial engagement in Astana, with participants representing institutions, investors and businesses from countries around the world.
