Senior Minister of State, Dr. Amy Khor, to lead Singapore delegation at ASEAN Transport Ministers’ Meeting in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR from 9 to 10 November 2023
SENIOR Minister of State (SMS) Dr. Amy Khor, from the Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, will lead the Singapore delegation to the 29th ASEAN Transport Ministers’ Meeting and associated meetings with ASEAN Dialogue Partners, scheduled to be held in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR from 9th to 10th November 2023.
During the meeting, ASEAN Transport Ministers will engage in discussions and assess regional cooperation in air, land, and sea transport. They will also have meetings with their counterparts from ASEAN Dialogue Partners including the People’s Republic of China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea, to exchange views on transport cooperation.
On 10th November, SMS Dr. Khor is set to participate in a Ministerial Interface Meeting of the ASEAN Transport and Tourism Ministers. The discussion will focus on collaboration between the two sectors to expedite post-pandemic economic recovery.
Accompanying SMS Dr. Khor will be officials from the Ministry of Transport, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, and the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.
