The collaboration aims to deliver seamless, personalised travel through data insights and local partnerships.
The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Southeast Asia’s leading superapp, Grab, to elevate travel experiences for both leisure and business visitors. The partnership is designed to strengthen Singapore’s position as a top-tier global travel destination by combining STB’s tourism expertise with Grab’s digital capabilities.
Through this collaboration, both parties will explore the use of data insights to better understand visitor preferences. This will support the development of more personalised and meaningful travel experiences across the city-state, including curated recommendations that showcase Singapore’s diverse precincts and vibrant culinary scene.
STB and Grab will also work closely with local tourism businesses, using Grab’s platform to drive visibility, engagement, and value. These efforts are expected to not only benefit travellers but also support the growth of local enterprises and entrepreneurs.
Additionally, the partnership seeks to enhance Singapore’s events ecosystem by leveraging Grab’s technology to improve transport access and convenience during key tourism events, further cementing the nation’s standing as a global events hub.
