Marking 60 years of Singapore’s independence, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia highlights a new era of deepened bilateral relations and strategic cooperation.

Singapore – On the occasion of Singapore’s 60th National Day, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Singapore extends its warmest congratulations to the Government and people of the Republic of Singapore. This milestone reflects six decades of visionary leadership, economic resilience, and global engagement, and we join Singapore in celebrating its remarkable achievements.

This year marks a significant advancement in Saudi–Singapore relations with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding establishing the Saudi–Singapore Strategic Partnership Council. Co-chaired by Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and Crown Prince and Prime Minister His Royal Highness Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Council represents a new chapter in our bilateral ties—one defined by strategic alignment, high-level coordination, and shared ambition.

Singapore is Saudi Arabia’s first strategic partner in Southeast Asia, and this partnership reflects the growing convergence between our national priorities. Bilateral trade reached S$10.6 billion in 2023, and Saudi investments in Singapore continue to expand, with leading companies such as Aramco and SABIC deepening their presence. Singaporean firms are also increasingly engaging with the Kingdom’s dynamic market, drawn by its scale, youthful population, and the transformative opportunities offered by Vision 2030.

The Strategic Partnership Council will accelerate cooperation across key sectors, including trade, investment, energy, logistics, technology, and innovation. It provides a structured platform for both governments to chart long-term collaboration and unlock new avenues for growth. With regular exchanges and expanding private sector engagement, the momentum behind Saudi–Singapore economic ties is stronger than ever.

As both nations pursue bold development agendas, we are confident that the opportunities for collaboration will multiply. The Embassy reaffirms its commitment to supporting this comprehensive partnership and to fostering deeper business and institutional linkages in the years ahead.

Happy National Day, Singapore. We look forward to a future of shared prosperity and enduring cooperation!
