CANBERRA, 9 October 2025 – Singapore and Australia further strengthened their long-standing partnership with the signing of the Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP 2.0) during the Annual Leaders’ Meeting held in Canberra. The Joint Declaration, signed by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, marked a new phase in the bilateral relationship between the two nations.

The Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership builds upon the first CSP established in 2015 and outlines a forward-looking framework for collaboration across five key pillars: contributing to peace and security, connecting economies, transitioning to net zero, forging new frontiers, and deepening friendships and capabilities. These priorities reflect both nations’ shared vision to strengthen regional stability, promote sustainable development, and enhance economic resilience.

They expressed confidence that CSP 2.0 would serve as a key framework to address shared challenges and drive inclusive growth in the Indo-Pacific region.
